Mission

Transform a panoramic PC enclosure into a complete 2025 Gentle Mates commission mod for the professional gaming team in Paris.

Mission report

M8 started as a white panoramic chassis with large uninterrupted glass surfaces and highly visible ventilation panels. MP-Customized disassembled and masked the enclosure before applying a two-tone pink finish that follows the team palette across the top, base and full-height outer grille. Inside, a vertically mounted pink GPU sits against transparent graphic layers, while illuminated acrylic storage covers repeat the Gentle Mates crest and narrow star motif. Etched artwork, custom supports and small three-dimensional accents carry the same identity into details that would otherwise remain generic. Purple-pink lighting brings those transparent layers forward without hiding the hardware. The archive records the complete 2025 commission process, from the original case and paint preparation to laser work, reassembly and the finished M8 presentation for the Paris-based professional gaming team.

01 · Briefing

The assignment

Gentle Mates commissioned a one-off case mod that could carry the Paris team’s identity through the complete enclosure. The large glass chassis needed to remain open and functional while its colour, graphics and internal presentation became unmistakably M8.

02 · Execution

Built as one idea

MP-Customized stripped and masked the original white enclosure, refinished its outer structure in alternating pink tones and built illuminated acrylic panels around the M8 crest. A vertical GPU presentation, custom graphics and small fabricated details extend the identity through the hardware chamber.

03 · Outcome

Made to be seen

The completed 2025 commission turns a neutral panoramic case into a cohesive Gentle Mates display piece, with the team palette readable from the exterior and repeated throughout the illuminated interior.
