Mission
Develop a private-client PC commission whose 3D-printed enclosure becomes a convincing full raven sculpture without hiding the hardware.
Mission report
The CROW started with a pose study rather than a standard rectangular chassis. MP-Customized reviewed five detailed raven forms, including seated, standing, attacking and spread-wing variations, to find a silhouette capable of supporting a complete computer. The selected direction combines a seated body with two raised wings, creating a broad protective outline around the hardware chamber. In Fusion, the body and right wing were organised as separate elements and the wing geometry was mirrored to keep both sides consistent. This separation is important for 3D-printed production, assembly and later access to the PC components. The two concept visuals explore how a dark feathered exterior, red internal lighting and an exposed hardware window can coexist without losing the recognisable head, beak, talons and wing profile. The current archive documents design and print preparation for an active 2026 commission; it does not yet present a completed physical case.

The assignment
The client requested a computer that reads as a raven sculpture before it reads as a conventional PC. The form therefore has to carry a complete hardware chamber while preserving the bird silhouette, stable support, cooling access and printable construction.
02 · Execution
Built as one idea
MP-Customized compared five distinct raven poses before developing the selected body and raised wings as separate 3D forms. The digital enclosure uses a seated body as its structural core, mirrored wing geometry around the sides and an open central hardware display beneath the head and layered feathers.
03 · Outcome
Made to be seen
The documented 2026 design stage establishes the final sculptural direction and printable component strategy for the commissioned case. Physical printing, hardware integration and finished client photography remain the next documented phases.
Mission and report text are drafted from the preserved project image and original MP-Customized metadata. Additional technical specifications, photography or press references can be added after verification.
